NAQEZ Executive Director Aaron Chansa says it is extremely difficult to believe that the 38 candidates who sat for their grade nine examinations in 2021 at Mumena Secondary School failed.

Mr Chansa is demanding for a serious inquiry into the matter adding that the failure has raised a lot of questions as to why not even a single learner managed to pass.

He says as an organization, it would love the Ministry of Education to further investigate the levels of parental support the School received, commitment of teachers to work and the availability of teaching and learning materials at the School.

He has observed that what has happened at Mumena Secondary School is as a result of automatic progression of grade 7 learners into grade 8 saying if the policy is not abandoned, there will be more academic disasters in Zambia.
