CHAVUMA DISTRICT RECIEVES 5500 DOSES OF FDM VACCINES

The department of veterinary in Chavuma district of North-Western province has embarked on a vaccination exercise of cattle against Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD).
District Veterinary officer Brian Phiri says the District has received about 5500 doses of FMD.
The vaccination exercise is targeting a total of nine veterinary camps in the District.
It will be done in Chavuma central, Sanjongo, Kambuya, Nyatanda and Nguvu.
Other camps are Lukolwe, Ngundu, Likoma and Chibombo respectively.
The exercise will take two weeks further cautioning to ensure that their animals are vaccinated adding that the disease has devastating effects.
