FORMER CIVIC LEADER APPEALS TO LOCAL LEADERSHIP TO WORK ON ROADS

Former Chililabombwe’s Kafue Ward Councillor Jane Daka Mutwale has appealed to the leadership in the border town to ensure that they are on top of things by delivering services to the residents.
Councillor Daka who is also opposition Patriotic Front PF Chililabombwe Constituency Chairlady observes that the election victory honeymoon is over and that it is now time to work.
She says urges the Council to come up with modalities on how the waste management will be conducted especially that the rains are fast intensifying.
And Ms Daka has called on the local authority to work on the roads within the central business district saying the state of some roads is pathetic.
Meanwhile, Ms Daka has further observed the need for civil society organization to work in the fight against gender based violence.
The 16 days of gender activism was launched last week and is ending on December 10th, 2021.
