Green Eagles came from behind to score twice as they held Nkana to a 2-2 draw.

Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga scored a spot kick in the 36th minute of the first half before Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba scores the second goal in the 48th minute via a spot kick.

This was in the MTN Super league week 12 fixture played at Nkana Stadium yesterday afternoon.

A splendid performance is what Nkana exhibited but could not utilize some chances.

Derrick Bulaya scored a goal Green Eagles in the 78th minute to make it 2-1 before Hosea Silwimba leveled the affairs in the 88th minute.

And Green Eagles Coach Aggrey Chiyangi described the game as a tough one.

“We could have scored more goals, it has been a good game and Nkana played very well and pushed us hard”Chiyangi said.

And Nkana Coach Beston Chambeshi described the 2-2 draw result against Green Eagles as a disappointing.

But he expressed confidence that the next game will yield a better result.

Chambeshi as National Team Coach lost 3-1 to Tunisia in the 2022 Qatar FIFA world Cup qualifiers.

“We lead 2-0 but we gave up and drew, we lose three points. It is not health, we played a good game and the boys played well” Chambeshi said.
