Dziwa Science and Technology (DSaT) has called on government to strengthen the education system that will see women being empowered in the science and technology field.

DSaT Executive Director Veronica Mwaba has told Flava FM news that there is need for government to identify those interested in science to help start developing interest in the subjects.

Ms. Mwaba notes that empowering women in this area is a good idea stressing that access to information multiplies when women are empowered.

She says most women especially in rural parts of the country are engaged in different activities among them farming which increases productivity in the country.

Ms Mwaba has further called on a few women scientists in the country to share knowledge they have to girls especially in rural areas unlike holding it to themselves.

I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading incredibly slow for
me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my
end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem
    still exists.
