The Health Professionals Council of Zambia (HPCZ) has called for more investments in the health sector and training level so that more doctors are trained locally.
HPCZ Head of Public Relations Terry Musonda says the council believes that increase in the number of qualified doctors will result in enhanced quality specialised healthcare services to the people.
Mr. Musonda further says the council remains committed to bring improvements in the health sector through their knowledge and skill development.
He says the more cases are treated within the country, the less costly healthcare will be for individuals involved and government as a whole.
