Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has said the ruling party will not support the proposed reintroduction of Deputy Ministers and formation of a coalition government as per Constitutional amendment bill 2019.
Speaking at a media briefing in Kitwe, Mr Mwila has also disclosed that the party will support the election of mayors and council Chairpersons by Councillors.
He said the party has rejected about four resolutions of the National Dialogue Forum (NDF) out of the 14.
Mr Mwila said the party has also rejected the proposal to amend the preamble by the deletion of the word multi religious and substitution of the word Christian.
He added that the party has also proposed that the requirement for a civil servant to join politics be reduced from two years to six months.
