Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has urged civil servants interested to run for political office in the next elections to come out in the open and stop frustrating elected leaders.
Speaking at media briefing in Kitwe, Mr Mwila said he is aware of some civil servants positioning for political offices but have not come out but continue to frustrate those in offices.
He has challenged those with interest to resign from their respective positions adding that frustrating those in offices is working against the same government.
Mr Mwila has since warned that the Patriotic Front led government will not spare civil servants in the habit of frustrating elected officers as they position for the same positions.
Meanwhile, Mr Mwila has reiterated the call by local government minister Vincent Mwale to Council Police Officers to stop harassing street vendors.
