The National Restoration Party (NAREP) has charged that opposition political parties withdrawing from the Opposition Alliance are being funded with a view of destabilizing the alliance.

NAREP Secretary General Ezra Ngulube has said the party is disappointed with the decision by the Patriots for economic Progress (PeP) to withdraw from the Opposition Alliance.

Mr Ngulube said NAREP will not go into details discussing the departure of PeP but will remain to ensure objectives are realized.

He stated that the alliance was formed with the objective of making Zambia a better place to live in and fight social injustice allegedly being perpetrated by the current regime.

Yesterday, Patriots for economic Progress (PEP) President Sean Tembo announced that the party was pulling out of the Opposition Alliance stating that there was no trust among partners.
