Reflect on KCM Liquidation, warns Green Party President Peter Sinkamba

Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has appealed to President Edgar Lungu to reflect on the decision arrived at to liquidate Konkola Copper Mines (KCM).
Speaking on Flava Fm’s Community View Point, Mr Sinkamba said there are other options such as business rescue operations that government can consider for betterment of every Zambians.
Mr Sinkamba is worried that liquidating Konkola Copper Mines may not be the best solution as it will leave most workers jobless after completion of the process.
He said currently government does not seem to have a better plan on how it intends to manage Konkola Copper Mines once liquidated.
Mr Sinkamba has alleged that the process of liquidating Konkola Copper Mines will end up benefiting the provisional liquidator more and leave the Country with more liabilities.
